See King Tut before it goes!

The King Tut Exhibit at Discovery Times Square Exposition was amazing. I took my entire family to go see it and everybody loved it. It was extremely fun for the kids who had never seen such unbelievable artifacts, plus Discovery Times Sq Exposition had a great scavenger hunt that helped them learn even more. If you havent seen King Tut yet, you should! Cant wait for more exhibits from Discovery Times Sq!

Amazing exhibit -- going again!

I took my 12 year old to the exhibit and we both absolutely loved it and were in awe the entire time! The 3D movie was not only entertaining but educational as well. The artifacts in the exhibit were beautiful and breathtaking. We loved the exhibit so much, we plan on going at least 3 more times before they take the items back to Egypt.

King Tut is Awesome

Just saw the King Tut exhibit over the weekend, and thought it was awesome. While there was so much to see and do inside the Discovery Exposition center, I was able to see everything in about an hour, and made it home in time for dinner. There were no lines, which was surprising given that the expo center is located in the heart of Times Square. There were so many artifacts to look at, and they kept getting more and more beautiful with every room I entered. My favorite artifact was definitely King Tut?s coffinette. While small, this mini coffin was intricately detailed and you could easily stare at it for a half hour. The description told me that the mini coffin was found inside King Tut?s tomb, and actually held his liver! I thought this was awesome! After I finished looking through the gallery, I caught the 3d movie on mummies. Thid movie was short and sweet, and was the perfect way to end my trip to the Discovery Exposition. On the way out, I stopped at the King Tut gift store and picked up a little something for my girlfriend. After getting lesson on hieroglyphics, I bought her an ankh necklace to symbolizd eternal life, the same symbol found on all of King Tut?s treasures.I would definitely recommend this exhibit to everyone in the area. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these artifacts before they are back in Egypt forever.

RE:TUT NYC is a MUST SEE

The King Tut exhibit is the perfect family outing! My husband and I brought our 3 children, and we all loved it, each for different reasons. I loved the exhibit?s 3300-year-old artifacts that were both stunning and timeless, covered with artistic detail. It was hard to believe they were so old since I?d wear that jewelry today if I could! My husband loved the ancient artifacts in the exhibit. He is somewhat of a history buff, and was so busy reading the descriptions and viewing the artifacts, he barely looked up! He also loved the amazing value we got for our tickets. Finally, the best part about this entire trip: my children loved it. For almost 2 hours, they were busy looking at artifacts, watching movie clips, or in awe over the replica Mummy of King Tut. I really loved that I could bring the kids somewhere that they found entertaining while still maintaining educational value. As a reward for their good behavior, they each got to pick something out from the fabulous Discovery gift shop located on the bottom floor of the building. I would definitely dub the Discovery Times Square Exposition an ideal place to bring children!
