Nightclub and recording star Keely Smith stars in Keely Swings Basie-style. Based on her latest CD from Concord Records, the show is a tribute to Count Basie, the legendary bandleader and her personal friend. Her new show includes classic songs like "April in Paris," "Love For Sale," and "One For My Baby," as well as swinging versions of more contemporary tunes, including "How Sweet It Is" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." She will be joined by a nine-piece big band with musical direction by Dennis Michaels.
