Kate Berlant is an L.A.-based writer-performer who has performed across the U.S. in festivals such as the New York Comedy Festival, Festival Supreme, Treasure Island, Sasquatch, and Moontower. In the television space, Kate was featured on an episode of the Netflix series The Characters. Her performances have been commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and she has been described by the New York Times as a "magnetic improvisational comic" at the forefront of experimental comedy. She has been named by Time Out New York as one of New York City's "Top Three Comics to Watch" as well as one of Comedy Central's "Comics to Watch", and articles about her have been featured in The Fader, Esquire, Playboy, Rookie, and the Huffington Post.
