On Thursday June 18th, NYC's top comedy club Comix presents K-Date Comix, a raucous night of laughter and Korean-style matchmaking in a modern day Cupid's experiment.
In the Korean tradition of "booking," nightclub waiters play forceful matchmakers who literally drag strangers to different tables for impromptu meet-and-greets. After having a drink together, the newly formed "couple" can decide to go their separate ways or stick around and see how well their waiter has paired them. K-Date Comix adds a hilarious spin to the custom: after performing short sets, NYC's top comedians do the pairing instead of waiters, with running commentary adding to the fun. The laughs and love-sparks fly as comedians try to do what Korean mothers attempt every day... hook people up!

Produced and hosted by comedian Helen Hong from E! Entertainment and ImaginAsian TV, the show features top national comedians of all races.
