The evening's special program will include The Royal Ballet's first soloist Alexandra Ansanelli and New York City Ballet principal dancer Benjamin Millepied dancing Millepied's groundbreaking duet We Were Two accompanied by its composer Philip Glass. American Ballet Theatre principal dancers Ethan Steifel and Gillian Murphy will round out the evening with A Duet for Ethan Stiefel and Gillian Murphy, choreographed by Benjamin Millepied especially for his company's debut season at the Joyce Theater. In honor of the Jerome Robbins Foundation, the evening will include a special performance of his classic work A Suite of Dances, performed by Damian Woetzel.
