In October of 2002, theatre history was made when the song and dance extravaganza 42nd Street became the first American musical to open for an extended run in Moscow. The tap shoes never arrived. There was no dress rehearsal. A neighboring theatre was seized by Chechen rebels. Cast member Joshua Scheer tells all about it. After a critically-acclaimed run back in June, Don't Tell Mama welcomes back Joshua Scheer for an encore presentation of his one-man show From Russia, With Love (42nd Street Plays Moscow), directed by Kathy Brier and with musical direction by Eddie Guttman.
