Jonathan Whitton's acclaimed solo cabaret evening, Perfect Finite, makes its long-anticipated bow in NYC, following standing room only engagements in numerous American cities. The show is a heartfelt, bittersweet, and impassioned song cycle featuring select numbers from contemporary musical theatre composers and lyricists, including Jason Robert Brown, John Bucchino, Mark Campbell, William Finn, Adam Guettel, Michael John LaChiusa, and Stephen Sondheim, with some contemporary pop thrown in for good measure. Whitton's energetically unparalleled on-stage performances in shows ranging from starring turns in Hedwig and the Angry Inch to The Last Five Years and Santaland Diaries to Cabaret have critics hailing him as "mesmerizing" (Saratogian, NY), "stunning" (Times-Union, NY), "a tour-de-force" (Chronicle, NY) and "a performer with charisma to spare" (Free-Times, SC).
