WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
On Thursday, May 28th, some of the most ground-breaking comedians in America will descend upon New York for one night as The Satiristas! Join Paul Provenza, Janeane Garofalo, Wyatt Cenac and *very special guests* to be announced for a night of laughs and revolution that will benefit the Ghetto Film School.
WHAT IS SATIRISTAS? Satiristas : (n., pl.) 1. a cadre of comic provocateurs at the forefront of a revolutionary movement targeting political hypocrisy, media distortion, and the institutionalized ignorance infecting American culture. Satiristas are comedians known by the savage bite of their wit, virtuosic command of sarcasm and irony, and finely tuned bullshit detectors. Satiristas speak truth to power, reap the rewards, and sometimes pay the price.
