For his show at Feinstein's Johnny Rodgers - described as "a combination of Elton John, Billy Joel and James Taylor all rolled into one," by Show Business Weekly and "a first-rate singer songwriter with robust vocals and exuberant pianism" by the Chicago Tribune - will celebrate his concurrent CD EP releases Bound Together and Let's Make A Date which featured special guest Liza Minnelli. Songs will include Rodgers indie/pop flavored originals such as the touching "Father's Day" ballad, the rally cry title track, "Bound Together" and the Beatlesque "Cry for Freedom." The show will also feature his new radio single "The Best of You In Me" and the Randy Newman classic "You Can Leave Your Hat On", which Rodgers performed at many of Minnelli's concerts. Jackets are suggested but not required.
