WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Maverick film, opera and orchestral composer John Corigliano has evolved a musical language in which architecture, color and overt drama work together to astonishing effect. He is joined by soprano Amy Burton and pianist Stephen Gosling to showcase Mr. Tambourine Man, a work based on seven of Bob Dylan's lyrics. "Mr. Tambourine Man debunks the claim that there's nothing new under the sun [...] Corigliano's deconstruction pays homage to the iconic singer-songwriter, making his verses wonderfully strange and strangely wonderful." - The Minneapolis Star Tribune.
