Jackie Ryan, featured artist: NPR, Voice of America, CNN espanol, and PRIMETIME A&E, has been described by JazzTimes as, "One of the outstanding jazz vocalists of her generation and, quite possibly, of all time...rivaling the dexterous sass of Sarah Vaughan and the scintillating verve of Diana Krall." Jackie will be celebrating the release of her double CD "DOOZY" - the #1 Jazz CD Nationwide for 7 weeks on JazzWeek's chart. Jackie Ryan has a magnetic stage presence and a voice that carries echoes of Billie Holiday and Betty Carter. Her creativity as an artist and performer, combined with her warm personality, has sold-out shows not only at London's Ronnie Scott's and at Christofori's in Amsterdam, but also at New York's Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club, Los Angeles' Jazz Bakery, and Oakland's Yoshi's.
