Jewish Storytelling at it's BEST. 10 Stories. 6 minutes. One Champion. YOU CHOOSE THE WINNER! From knishes to maza-ball soup, from Jewish dating disaster stories to heartfelt tales of hope, J-Slam is the fiercest Storytelling competition in New York City. Only one will be the winner! Featuring: Jerry Fishman, Rochelle Lisner, Lois Barth, Michelle Slonim, Hananel Edri, Dina Plotch, Noam Harary, Jay Stone, Carla Sadof and Sivan Hadari with a special performance by Master Storyteller Sariel Beckenstein, founder of WEAVE Storytelling Workshop. Hosted by Ophira Eisenberg. About Weave Storytelling Workshops:WEAVE is a unique method of story telling. Telling a story is an art and we know everyone can excel at it At WEAVE we are committed to training people to achieve this goal. WEAVE are the creators of STORYSHOP . Think of STORYSHOP as a laboratory where you explore and learn how to turn any story into a compelling, touching motivating story. STORYSHOP is done in small groups 8-10 people , shortly after gathering the participants feel they have arrived at a safe place where they can trust to be able to share their story. Our work is designed to empower the story teller, to heal , to embrace humanity. STORYSHOP is designed for individuals and companies a like. Our methodology is also used to building teams in the workplace, such that the people who are members of the team become more productive and relationships are transformed.
