Critics praise her "courage to take risks, expressive intensity and technical perfection" (General Anzeiger, Bonn), "poetry and panoramic vision" (Washington Post), and "riveting passion, playfulness" (Baltimore Sun). Her acclaimed CD on MSR Classics, "Sound of Verse", was released in 2009.
