WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Direct from a tour of Palestinian villages in Israel and the West Bank, a powerful story of life in 1948 at the moment of 'the catastrophe'.
1948. The British Mandate is ending. The United Nations votes on who will control what part of Palestine. Ali is in love with Nada but her father won't let them marry because his brother Yusuf is 'odd'. War begins. The villagers become refugees. The secret that kept Ali and Nada apart is revealed.
