Critically-acclaimed singer, composer and bandleader Howard Fishman returns to Abrons to celebrate the release of his most ambitious project to date: three new albums, recorded simultaneously but traversing wildly different musical and emotional terrain. Fishman will perform each record in its entirety, in order, on consecutive evenings, each one featuring a different ensemble.

Better Get Right puts Fishman's Biting Fish Brass band to work in a set of songs inspired by the New Orleans, the singer's former home. No Further Instructions is a song cycle about his recent travels with a childhood friend through rural Romania, and what he calls "the strange and beautiful adventures" he had there. The World Will Be Different is an intimate album about love won and lost, featuring a stripped down band of guitar bass and drums accompanied by a string quartet.
