Portland, Oregon's Holcombe Waller has been writing, recording and performing music for the past 15 years and playing piano since the age of 2. Holcombe has been broadening his theatrical experiences these past two years in Portland's thriving artistic environment, cutting his teeth with performance art guru Scott Kelman, actor and musical theater impresario Wade McCollum, and Portland's own punk drag theater troupe Sissyboy. Oddly though inevitably, these experiences have conjured the epic return of Mihael Sagalovesky, the long lingering ghost of Waller's beleaguered Polish ancestry - a singing clown who theatrically covers folk songs to tell the stories of all that we have lost that we will find again. Mihael's debut performance, titled Mihael Sagalovesky and the Tragic Torments of Patty Heart Townes (featuring covers of Patty Griffin and Townes Van Zandt), took two Portland audiences by storm January 26th and 27th.
