WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Critically acclaimed vocalist, Kate Beckman sings music from the swing era in a benefit concert for The Salvation Army. She will be joined by her musical director, Eric Baum, on piano along with HB Williams on bass, and Chris Pagano on drums.
Ms. Beckman enjoys a busy concert and cabaret schedule and has developed a reputation as a versatile performer and an audience favorite. She has been reviewed by the press as, "The most compelling performer…Her deep rich voice coddles her songs. More important, she invests each with emotional urgency." This fall she created the role of Nan Edwards in a new musical, Fair Liberty's Call. Her work has taken her throughout the United States and England with favorite projects and roles in Carmen, Kiss Me Kate, Tintypes, A Moon for the Misbegotten, A Little Night Music, Barnum, and Nunsense.
