Hear one of the world's most illustrious oboists when the 92nd Street Y presents Heinz Holliger and eleven chamber virtuosos in an intimate evening of music-making. Hailed by London's Guardian as "the greatest oboist of the past half century," Holliger will perform music of Mozart, including his oboe quartet, featuring members of the Zehetmair Quartet. The program also features five short masterworks by Holliger's close friend, Elliott Carter. Come early for a thrilling pre-concert performance of music by Carter and Holliger himself at 6:30 pm.
