For 43 years, the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company has enjoyed a reputation as one of the world's foremost dance companies. For each evening of Stripped/Dressed, Lar Lubovitch will be joined by an eminent dance writer in a discussion about his creative process. Following that, The Legend of Ten will be presented in its fully-produced form. This new master work from 2010 is set to Johannes Brahms' Quintet for Piano and Strings. 'Legend' refers to the codes and symbols by which one reads a map - i.e., the music - with the 10 dancers as cartographers.
