St. George's Society will present its premiere Anglo-American Cultural Awards, a two-part gala fundraising celebration.
6:15PM Reception at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College.
7:00PM A-list cast led by CANDICE BERGEN. Directed by Oscar, Tony, Emmy Award winner and evening honoree TONY WALTON. A one-night-only bow of JAMES GOLDMAN and STEPHEN SONDHEIM's 1st American staging of Evening Primrose - (broadcast in 1966) based upon the short story by JOHN COLLIER - at Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. The cast will also features: SEAN PALMER, WILLIAM DUELL, JOHN WINDSOR-CUNNINGHAM, and legends CARMEN DE LAVALLADE, FREDERIC FRANKLIN and SONDRA LEE dancing together for the first time.
8:30PM Gala Awards Dinner & Cabaret at Hearst Tower (57th St. and 8th Ave.) Featured performances by ALAN CUMMING and JIM DALE, as well as appearances by theatre legends ANGELA LANSBURY and CHITA RIVERA. Presentation of Awards to Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief GLENDA BAILEY and TONY WALTON.
