WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

We never know what the night may bring...a dream or a nightmare. Award-winning versatile soprano, Deanna Neil (Deedeebird) weaves together an edgy, evocative story of the human experience of night through nocturnally themed songs and pedestrian interviews. From Metallica to Brahms and themes from lust to death, these aren't just your mother's lullabies. The songs in Enter Night span genres from The Beatles to Billy Joel to Alice Cooper, and cycle from gentle lullabies to seductive selections for lovers to outright screaming nightmares.
Ms. Neil, a self-professed "sleep addict," explores why we sing lullabies to each other (and ourselves) throughout different phases of life. Enter Night, inspired by Metallica's Sandman, reflects how those moods change as we get older, and how some feelings of night remain universal. Newly incorporated original music by Ms. Neil and recorded street interviews with strangers add a fresh multicultural and multimedia dimension.Ms. Neil is a singer, actress, writer and radio go-to girl. With a four-octave range, full, rich high notes and a powerful belt, Ms. Neil has been called "one of the greatest undiscovered sopranos," by Tony Award-winning Broadway producer David Richenthal and "the tip of the iceberg in talent" by Terrence
