WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Lark Theatre Company opens its Overtures benefit series with Earth Girls Are Easy, a new musical by Charlie Coffey and Michael Hermann based on the film of the same name. This wacky adventure happily teeters on the edge between meaningful themes of self-discovery and 80s pop-culture cheese in all its glory. Tony Award-winning director John Rando (Urinetown) hosts an evening featuring Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth, Thoroughly Modern Millie star Marc Kudisch, original film star and screenwriter Julie Brown (recreating her film role), Urinetown star Hunter Foster, Deven May, Lisa Capps, Roxanne Barlow, and Steve Wilson.
