WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
ONE SUMMER, the Irish seaside town of Inish invites drama into their lives -- with transforming and very funny results. Enter the De La Mare Repertory Company, whose mission is to revolutionize the souls of their audience with serious, intellectual plays. The citizens are moved and delighted by the works of Ibsen, Strindberg and Chekhov, but the town begins to change as the once happy-go-lucky citizens see the world through the lens of these melancholic classics. A delightful ensemble comedy and a little-seen Irish gem.
This play is recommended for ages 13+.
