Dorothy's Side of the Street celebrates the Dorothy Fields Centennial. The 92nd Street Y welcomes journalist and playwright Deborah Grace Winer, the author of the only biography of Dorothy Fields, to host the evening. Fields wrote songs that have become part of the fabric of American culture, but her name is not nearly as well known as her lyrics.
The cast features award-winning composer, arranger, vocalist, and jazz pianist Billy Stritch on piano and vocals as well as vocalists Julie Wilson and Karen Ziemba.
