RE:Very Disappointing
I have just been to see the show at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. The performance did not match the venue unfortunately. Debbie appeared to be under the influence of alcohol when she first came on stage. For example, a bit unsteady and her words were slurred sometimes. When she sang the drums accompanying her practically drowned out her voice. The best part of the show was when clips from her old movies were shown and she sang along to the recordings. In fact I was pleased when there was an interval after the first hour so I could leave. I was not the only disappointed member of the audience.
