Beginning a momentous journey with no capital, one office, a bare-bones staff and an extraordinary candidate, Plouffe and his team managed to mount a historic campaign and grassroots movement that forever changed the face of politics. Recently, Plouffe helped set up Organizing for America, a 13-million-strong group of Obama supporters, to continue the spirit and initiative of the campaign in everyday political and civic life.
