This second dose of Tonic brings trumpeter Dave Douglas to the Abrons' mainstage. Widely recognized as one of the most important and original American musicians to emerge from the jazz and improvised music scene, Douglas's collaborations read like a who's who of important contemporary artists, including John Zorn, Trisha Brown, and Tom Waits. At the Abrons, he and his ensemble celebrate the music of jazz legend Randy Weston in this one night only event.
