Are you fed up with managed care? Do you get your prescriptions written by an Internet physician? Do you have trouble reaching a human being when you call your health plan? Is your doctor more of a businessman than a healer? Are there any nurses remaining in your community hospital? Do you still have a community hospital?

Greg and Barry were medical school classmates at Cornell Medical College in New York in the late 1960's. Greg is an internist at Merck and Schering-Plough pharmaceutical companies in New Jersey, and Barry is a specialist in occupational and environmental medicine and an Adjunct Professor at Tufts Medical School.

Damaged Care highlights issues of great concern to health professionals and the general public, including managed care, reduced insurance coverage, the dehumanization of health care, hospital mergers, the inadequate emphasis on prevention, "cost containment," medical errors, and the threat of "superbugs."

After the Show there will be an informal Q&A for any questions the audience wants to ask the doctors!
