WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Cornell Dupree is an incredibly influential R&B guitarist from Texas who has recorded on roughly 2,500 albums. He started off playing in the Atlantic Records studio band recording and touring with King Curtis (w/an unknown Jimi Hendrix), and Aretha Franklin playing on such hits as "Respect". His guitar work graces Brook Benton's "A Rainy Night in Georgia". He formed the funk band Stuff in the seventies and recorded and toured with Joe Cocker. Dupree continues recording and performing his original style that has influenced generations of guitarists.
