Improvisation meets the orchestra. From jazz to real-time electronic experimentation, improvisation is a uniquely American means of expression that has altered the musical landscape. Join American Composers Orchestra in a festival exploring the dynamics of new music that crosses boundaries and opens new worlds of musical expression.
Uri Caine interprets great composers with free and bold instrumentation. When listening to these interpretations it's not usually the original that comes to mind but the new creation emerging from the conversation between Caine and the composer.
