WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The Actors' Fund of America presents the cult musical Chess as its third annual benefit concert for one performance only. Starring Josh Groban, Lara Fabian, Adam Pascal, Norm Lewis, and Julia Murney, the show is a Cold War story of love and betrayal set against a Russian versus American chess match. The score, with music by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus and lyrics by Tim Rice, includes the pop hit "One Night in Bangkok," "Heaven Help My Heart," "I Know Him So Well," "Pity the Child," and "Anthem." Peter Flynn directs, with musical direction by Seth Rudetsky. All proceeds benefit The Actors' Fund of America.
