Throughout his career, Charlie Haden has transcended the boundaries of modern music. Widely considered to be among the greatest acoustic jazz bassists, Haden has contributed pivotal music to an array of genres: avant-garde, small group, big band, world music, folk and gospel. In addition, Haden has explored the diverse streams of American popular music with his acclaimed Quartet West. For this, the quartet's 25th anniversary engagement,east-coast edition, Haden is joined by tenor saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, pianist Alan Broadbent and drummer Rodney Green.
