WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Vangeline Theater fuses the post-apocalyptic vision of Butoh with the cinematic aesthetic of 21st-century science fiction noir. Objects levitate, petals fall, Butoh blossoms. No dream is left behind. With Azumi Oe, Maki Shinagawa, Margherita Tisato, Pamela Herron, Stacy Lynn Smith, and Vangeline.
