WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters lend helping hands to a "cause for paws" when they host Broadway Barks 5, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption
agencies. Laura Benanti, Tammy Blanchard, Kate Buddeke, John Dossett, Linda Emond, Edie Falco, Sutton Foster, Julie Halston, Linda Hart, Dick Latessa, Heather Lee, Mary Stuart Masterson, Jon Secada, and Leslie Uggams are scheduled to appear, with Harvey Fierstein as a special guest emcee. The event is produced by Broadway Care/Equity Fights AIDS.
In the event of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, July 13 at 12:00pm.
