After its acclaimed world premiere at PS122 last fall, Blind.ness (Love is a four-letter word) returns to New York for a limited engagement as part of COIL 2010, PS122's winter festival featuring the best of the past, present and future of contemporary performance. Directed by Ivan Talijancic and co-written with Slovenian playwright Simona Semeni? in collaboration with the performers (Melody Bates, Gillian Chadsey, Erika Latta and Breeda Wool), Blind.ness follows a powerhouse all-female cast on an emotional roller coaster ride across the dark and wildly humorous underbelly of love. Presented in WaxFactory's renowned interdisciplinary style, part-multi-media installation, part-dance theatre, BLIND.NESS is an unflinching examination of what happens when love goes terribly wrong.
