WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
B.J. Ward's Stand Up Opera is an irreverant look at this classic form -- with its personalities, plot lines, and prima donnas. Ward is a classically trained soprano with a four-octave range. She performs arias alonside stand-up comedy, with a dash of Marx Brothers zaniness. Gordon Hunt directs, with musical direction by Joseph Thalken.
