Paul F. Tompkins, possibly the most nattily dressed stand-up comedian and host of VH1's Best Week Ever, will headline at Comix May 3rd.   Paul has been featured on Comedy Central's Root of All Evil, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and two of his own ½ hour specials called Comedy Central Presents...Paul F. Tompkins.  He began his stint as a writer and performer while on HBO's Mr. Show with Bob and David where he was nominated for an Emmy award for writing. He then went on to write and star in his own one-man show, Driven to Drink, for HBO.  He also gained a WGA nomination for his work as a writer & correspondent on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. Paul has also appeared on the Sarah Silverman Program, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. His other acting credits include Magnolia, Frasier, Anchorman, and most recently There Will be Blood.
