Dance, laugh, and sing while learning about the rich culture of Africa with a vibrant performance by Batoto Yetu! Batoto Yetu is a Harlem-based children's dance company that has presented high-energy performances at Carnegie Hall and the Apollo Theatre. Come to Brooklyn Center during Black History Month to experience the excitement of Batoto Yetu's African dance performance. Your child is invited to join Júlio T. Leitão, founder and choreographer of Batoto Yetu, to learn elements of African dance and their meaning within the culture of Africa. Part of a one-hour KidsClub workshop after the show!
