Trumpets will wail, hips will pop, and eyes will smolder as Ballet Hispanico marks its 20th Anniversary. During the first week of the engagement, experience the hotbed of the Palladium Ballroom in The Joyce's intimate setting, and be carried away by the live rhythms of the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, led by Arturo O'Farrill. In week two, Ballet Hispanico reprises repertory favorites by William Whitener and Talley Beatty to the music of Tito Puente, Carlos Santana, and the legends of Latin Jazz.
