Contemporary jazz singer Antonio Barbagallo leads his quartet in support of his brand new CD "Splendida Luce" on Koine Italy with a live set at the legendary Feinstein's. Barbagallo's lush and seductive vocals, in his native Italian, as well as English and Portuguese, win audiences over wherever he appears. His lyrics and melodic sentiments embody dreams of romance just out of reach. From the sweet nostalgia of "Havana's Short Story" to the bossa nova classic "Vera Cruz" to the contemporary crossover "Lonely People," the tracks here are destined to be etched in everyone's heart by summer's end. The CD boasts Stacy Dillard on sax, Ugonna Okegwo on bass, and Fabio Morgera on trumpet. Stacy Dillard, of Roy Hargrove, Mulgrew Miller, and Lewis Nash {to name but a few} will be Antonio's special guest for the evening.
