WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Anika Larsen recently starred as Roberta in the Off-Broadway hit Zanna, Don't! (Lucille Lortel Nomination). Nicknamed Shafrika by her siblings, Anika wonders just what shade of white she is, having grown up with Black, White, Asian, Latino, and Native American brothers and sisters. Told through music just as eclectic as her siblings, Anika shares her witty perceptions on just how tricky it has been figuring out how to be Shafrika, the White Girl.
