WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Witty, amusing, cynical, and clever, Andrea Liacos manages to remain optimistic about love in the big city in her cabaret debut, The Life of the Party at Don't Tell Mama. Accompanied by Robert Felstein, she shares her romantic foibles in a way that enables us to laugh at ourselves through her own embarrassing yet endearing experiences. With a powerful belt, Ms. Liacos showcases her vocal talent with performances of pieces from such musicals as The WIld Party, The Last Five Years, and Side Show. She premieres her unique musical arrangement skills, with collaborative efforts from Mr. Felstein, in a demanding piece featureing excerpts from "One Boy," "What Did I Ever See In Him?" (Bye, Bye, Birdie) "Forget About the Boy" (Thoroughly Modern Millie), and "I Ain't Got Time" (Zanna Don't!).
