WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Fado, which means "fate" in Portuguese, has historically been characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, but Moura approaches the tradition with a brighter, more contemporary attitude. Her most recent album incorporates songs from rock bands such as the Rolling Stones and Joy Division, and she's performed on stage with the Rolling Stones and Prince.
