Robert Bolt's award winning play A Man For All Seasons follows two of the most charismatic figures from British history -- King Henry VIII and his friend and right-hand man Sir Thomas More.
Martin Shaw, best known for his portrayal of Judge John Deed in the hugely popular BBC series, stars as Sir Thomas More. More's crucible of moral standards leads to a choice between his own integrity and death. For this lawyer, writer, scholar and churchman there is no choice.
