Veteran Broadway and film stars Anne Jackson and Eli Wallach are honored at a special benefit performance titled A Life in the Theatre: Onstage and Off. The event is to raise funds for the Character Studies projects, which include a PBS documentary series about great theatrical characters, and a curriculum program for middle and high school students. The couple have been married for 58 years and are members of the Broadway Hall of Fame. Performers scheduled to appear at the tribute include Cynthia Nixon, James Naughton, Kate Burton, Andrea Martin, Austin Pendleton, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Eric Stoltz, Boyd Gaines, Tovah Feldshuh, Martha Plimpton and Estelle Parsons.
