WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Paul Brady is one of Ireland's most enduringly popular artists, and widely regarded as the pre-eminent Irish singer-songwriter of his generation. Born and raised in Strabane, Northern Ireland, Brady is widely regarded as the pre-eminent Irish singer-songwriter of his generation. His solo albums include Welcome Here Kind Stranger, Hard Station, True For You, Back To The Centre, Primitive Dance, Trick Or Treat, Spirits Colliding, Oh What A World, and Say What You Feel. Earlier in his career, he recorded seven albums with The Johnstons, one of the first wave of Irish ballad groups, before joining Planxty, the premier Irish folk band which launched the solo careers of Andy Irvine, Liam O'Flynn, Donal Lunny, and Christy Moore.
The legendary singer-songwriter sits for a live conversation about the creative process with renowned Irish musician-folklorist Mick Moloney. Special appearance by Sarah Siskind, whom Paul has chosen to join him as part of the inaugural Irish Arts Center Masters in Collaboration Series.
