WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
7 Miles From Prison explores the journey of growing up gay in the rural south. Shane, the protagonist, intimately details his struggles: his racist family, his love of church and god, and his fear of being different. Chronicled through the eyes of a dozen characters, the story is universal. Everyone must find their own path to self-acceptance and love.
