Flashback Friday: When The Visit's Donna McKechnie Was Just a Girl in A Chorus Line

Here’s hoping for some “The Music & The Mirror”-style dance breaks in Kander and Ebb’s new musical.

In a stunning Broadway casting move, Tony winner Donna McKechnie has recently been announced as standby for Chita Rivera in the upcoming Broadway premiere of Kander and Ebb's The Visit. Though the show, which is based on the 1956 play by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, follows the dour, oft-widowed richest woman in the world, we're pretty sure they can work in a dance break — at least for the nights that McKecknie takes the stage. If you're not convinced you'd want to see this matron let her hair down, the video below is sure to silence any qualms.
