Women’s Project Theater held its 2015 Women of Achievement Awards Gala on June 8 at the Edison Ballroom. The evening honored It Shoulda Been You's Tyne Daly, Stephanie George, the president and vice chairman of Fairchild Fashion Media, and Procter and Gable North American president Carolyn Tastad.

Tony and Emmy winner Bebe Neuwirth hosted, with special appearances by playwright Terrence McNally (It's Only a Play) as well as actors Sierra Boggess (It Shoulda Been You), Jeb Brown (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Margo Seibert (Ever After), and more.

Each year Women’s Project honors outstanding women who have taken risks, pushed limits, and broken ground in a wide variety of fields. Over the past 29 years, the theater has paid homage to luminaries such as Joan Didion, Eve Ensler, Whoopi Goldberg, Audra McDonald (A Moon for the Misbegotten), Vanessa Redgrave, Diane Sawyer, Chita Rivera (The Visit), Gloria Steinem, and more.
