Brandon Uranowitz, Alexandra Silber, and More Join Man of La Mancha in Concert

Transport Group Theatre Company brings together Broadway stars for a one-night-only event.

Transport Group Theatre Company has announced complete casting for its benefit concert production of Man of La Mancha, set for December 18 at the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center.

The cast will now feature two-time Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz (Falsettos), D.C. Anderson (Queen of the Mist), Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof), Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Side Show), Robert Creighton (Cagney), Matt Castle (Company), and Frank Galgano. They join a company previously announced to include John Cariani, Jason Danieley, Santino Fontana, Marc Kudisch, Julia Murney, Bryce Pinkham, Andrew Samonksy, Mary Testa, George Abud, Stanley Bahorek, Sherry Boone, Jessica Fontana, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Tally Sessions, Tim Dolan, Michael De Souza, Stephen Mir, Doug Shapiro, Jason SweetTooth Williams, and Rowan Vickers.

The evening will be hosted by original Broadway cast member Hechtor Ubarry, with direction by Transport Group artistic director Jack Cummings III. Joey Chancey will lend music direction.

Written by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion, Man of La Mancha is described as a "glorious affirmation of the unyielding resilience of the human spirit that will leave audiences breathless." Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote, the musical enters the mind and world of a mad knight as he pursues his quest for the impossible dream.
